THE SLEEPER PINS RECORDING LIVE!
The Sleeper Pins hooked up with the engineers at Full Circle Studios in Corcoran, MN on April 2nd to record 4 songs live! The songs tracked were "Songs for Black Swans," "30 Years," "I Will Not Burn," and "Once Your Mind Is Made." The Pins had a great time and want to thank Jake Shoulak and his assistants for setting it all up and being great guys to work with!
We are still waiting for the songs to be mixed and mastered, so stay tuned for further details!

10/4/11 THE SLEEPER PINS RE-RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM!
The Sleeper Pins will be re-releasing their self-titled debut album with all new updated cover art and a new song on the track list! When this album was first put out, Emperor Penguin Records was just getting off the ground, so the amount of copies was limited. The initial run of copies sold out, and with demand for sales and EPR having a more solid footing, they are releasing a new run of discs for your listening pleasure! Look for it soon at shows and online!
11/22/11 SIDE-PROJECT ALERT! HEAVY PEDAL CELLO IS COMING SOON!
The Sleeper Pins bandmates Tyson Allison and Aaron Kerr have started a side project duo called Heavy Pedal Cello. For this venture, Aaron plays cello which is run through Tyson's guitar effects pedals for manipulation; when possible, Tyson also adds in a little percussion. The music is completely improvised on the spot, so no performance or recording will ever be the same! The guys went into Master Mix studio in Minneapolis, MN and hit the record button with Justin DeLeon handling engineering duties. Coming soon is their debut CD, titled "October".
